"Long Dim Road" Anything But Dim..,

This is a great record from a fairly unknown band. Following in the footsteps of bands such as the Pogues, Flogging Molly ("the Crutch" sounds suspiciously like Flogging Molly's "Swagger"), and the Popes, the Tossers deliver a record of Guinness-fueled Irish folk/punk, incorporating the tin whistle and mandolin into the typical rock band mix to fill out the Irish folk sound while maintaining a hard edge. This record will be in my most-played list. If you have the means, I highly suggest you pick it up..

Irish/punk/folk From the Windy City.,

This album is a recent addition to my Celtic/Pirate/Pub/Folk-Punk collection. May I add it is a nice arrival! "The Ballad Of NATO" so far is my favorite track, but, It's only been a day or two since I bought the album, that i'm sure I will have more favorites. The Tossers are a much more political band than say...Flogging Molly.....Pogues...... So if you like any of those three bands, go get this album.

Tossers and all their music,

I went to a Tossers show last night and it kicked. The band was awesome and they stuck around and jammed with us until 3 am [eventhough the show ended at 12 and the had to drive to San Jose]. They played almost all of their tunes and Long Dim Road has some of the best. I've looked for their other albums but cant find them anywhere. But if you like a mixture of Irish folk music and punk, you will love the Tossers.
