We have an old house with hardwood, tile and linoleum floors. We've always used long-handled dustpan and brush sets to sweep the floors between vacuumings. We needed to replace an old set because the brush and hand grips were loose on the handles, and the rubber strip had come off the dustpan. So far this set is working great. It's a good height, the brush is easy to clean, and the jointed hand grip makes it more maneuverable. The pan is two inches wider than our old one, which is good for sweeping, but a bit awkward for emptying into the wastebasket. The rubber-edged dustpan works perfectly on smooth floors. On tiled floors with recessed grout lines the dirt doesn't all come up with one sweep. On the whole though we're very pleased, and the price was excellent.

This was a huge disappointment for me. I already had a clear/blue/yellow set that I love, and wanted another for the other part of the house. I'm in a walker/wheelchair and cannot use a traditional dustpan.

The broom is angled, being a lefty, I've always found that annoying, but I can deal with it. The dustpan is totally useless! When you sweep into it, the sweepings go UNDER the dustpan. What is the point!!!

I had a "Casabella Duck upright dustpan and broom" from 6-8 years ago that I have used and loved ever since. The label is still on there. When I decided to replace it, I see the quality has gone down. There isn't a good seal between the rubber of the dustpan and the floor. The broom is a little less substantial than the one from years ago.
The one I had was in the color pictured - clear and yellow/blue, but this one was all gray.
I am glad I saved my old one and I may just use it for a while longer.
There aren't too many other choices for this type of sweep set though.

I like this product - saves bending when a light sweeping is needed. However, this item's shipping cost was too expensive - I didn't know I could get it for [...] at Bed Bath & Beyond after 20% coupon taken. I paid as much for shipping as I did for the item.
