A must have for any die-hard Blazer fan,

This review is from: The Long, Hot Winter: A Year in the Life of the Portland Trail Blazers (Hardcover)
For younger fans such as myself, 24, I was only somewhat aware of what was going on during the Drexler-era, so to be able to read Coach Adleman's words, opinions, and thought processes behind each move really put you back into 1991. Although the season didn't turn out the way the team and their fans wanted it, there was still a great thrill to reengage in those memories to see just how special of a team we had then.
After reading the book, if you want visual evidence of that record breaking season, I strongly recommend purchasing Running Down a Dream, the 1991 Portland Trail Blazers video yearbook.Running Down a Dream:1990-91 Season [VHS] If you don't have the video, I have dissected Running Down a Dream into 7 YouTube clips for viewing at my blog, [...] Finally, this book is a great gift for any older Blazer fan wanting to relive the memories or to introduce Blazermania to a younger generation fan. |
