VERY well done., November 4, 2007

The Smiths put a massive amount of soul into these covers that Jerry Garcia achieved only once in a long while on his rare solo gigs. Songs like "Sugaree" and "Ripple" are so clear & naturally sounding, like a creek in a hidden valley somewhere in Kentucky. The songs feel as though they were written by Billy & Terry themselves...very rare for tribute albums.
