Sadly, this CD is now hard to obtain. It's worth the hunt to buy. One of the very best songs, "The Long Road", is available on the "When October Goes" compliation.

Released in 1992 on Windham Hill's now defunct singer/songwriter label, Cliff's stellar first effort is no longer available, but it stands the test of time quite nicely. Some of Cliff's finest songs are on this CD, so this is a must have for any Cliff Eberhardt fan or CE beginner. These twelve songs deserve to be in print again, but until they are, find a copy of your own and you'll be glad you did.

I bought this album to get a Hold of the title cut, which is a duet with Richie Havens: the song is a masterpiece. The rest of the album is quite listenable.
