Chico Debarge's, Long time no see Cd is one of the best cds that i have ever bought. To be honest i have never heard anything like it with so much feeling on every song. Like i said before its GREAT for love making, candlelight dinners and all that good stuff. My favorite songs on the Cd are, Is the love still good,Iggin' me, and Superman. But dont get me wrong, all the songs are good. This Cd is one of those that you can put on and listen to all the way through.

I lost this CD about a month ago, and just had to buy it again... Chico's music is often compared to Maxwell, D'angelo, etc. That's a fair comparison, but he is definitley original. And although several of his songs involve "suggestive" themes, the album is hardly explicit, so don't let that stop you from buying it. His song-writing is uncomplicated (I mean this in a good way) and the beats are sexy & relaxing. 'Long Time no See' is one of the most playable CDs I own.

WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT A CD THAT WAS PUT TOGETHER SO WONDERFULLY. IT'S JUST ONE OF THE GREATEST CD OUT, YOU CAN TELL ALOT OF LOVE AND CARE WENT INTO THIS CD. GOD BLESSED THIS YOUNG MAN WITH SUCH AN INCREDIBLE VOICE THAT YOU CAN FEEL THE LYRICS JUMP OUT AND GRAB YOU WITH EXCITEMENT.I'M AN UP AND COMING GOSPEL SINGER, AND I PRAY THAT I GET TO WORK WITH HIM ONE DAY. I don't mean to hang on Mr. DeBarge's coattails, but you have to let me know if there is a better R&B CD in the 90s. I played this CD so much, I had to buy another copy. Not to say that their is no competition to Mr. DeBarge, but the overall presentation of this CD is just fantastic, From the intro to the "No Guarantee" (Remix), Chico brings all that he has to the table. Every song on the CD is good but my personal favorites are "Physical Train", "Love Jones", "Superman", "Virgin" and the "No Guarantee (Remix) w/JOE. "The Game", his latest CD is also great, but there will never be another "Long Time, No See" even if there was a DeBarge reunion. A lot of people compare some of Chico's music to D'Angelo but I don't think Chico would purposely write a song or change his style to try to sound like another artist.

Here I am again ordering "Long Time No See" - I say again because over the years I have purchased it approximately 6 times. The other copies were lost, scratched, borrowed and never returned etc. This is an AWESOME CD. I can honestly tell you that if I were stranded on a deserted island and could only choose five CDs, trust and believe, Long Time No See would be on my list. Chico's music is relaxing, it upbeat at the right moments etc.

This is the kind of CD you NEED if you are taking a road trip and just want the music to flow as you cruise along to your destination. I have owned this disk since 1998. I flew to Dallas a few years back and while I was there I purchsed a brand new car to drive home (South Carolina), I stopped at Wal-mart to purchase LTNS, slid it in the CD player and baby it was on from that point. This CD kept me in great spirits during the sixteen hour drive and I NEVER tired of hearing it!! This is the kind of CD you NEED if you are coolin' with your spouse, eatting dinner, playing Backgamon and need that little something extra. Its also the CD you NEED if you are just cleaning house and need some motivating music. I cannot understand why this CD has not been listed as a R&B or Soul Classic, its just that good. I will continue to buy it as long as it is in production - I've suggested it to many friends and everyone thus far has been pleased. Go out and get it, you'll be glad you did!!

I really enjoyed this cd when it came out. I had it before lost it and been searching high and low for it in stores. Found it here and added to my collection.

I love every song on this cd, you can make love to it all night long. Take a candle lit

Bubble bath and have a glass of wine and enjoy the smooth sounds of Chico Debarge.

After spending eleven years in jail, Chico Debarge returned with an excllent disc Long Time No See. The disc has a neo-soul/contermopary R&B feel. Debarge holds his own on the truthful Iggin Me and No Guartnee both of which were huge radio songs back in 97 & 98. Other standout tracks include Ms.Wonderful, Physcial Train,Superman and Trouble Man. Here's hopinh Mr. Debarge returns with another album soon.

Neo soul at its best. the grooves on this cd are so infectious, its hard not to think of it when you think of some of your steamiest love making sessions. this cd oozes sexuality in a pure form that feels innocent and warm. its soft and hard sort of like chico's body but has the turthfullness of songs like love still good. A++ for his offorts on this album. it will remain in heavy rotation on those hot and heavy nights, i promise
