Great 1950s nostalgia, August 3, 2009

I never paid too much attention to the soundtrack of The Long, Long Trailer but I was certainly excited to have Breezin' Along with a Breeze on CD. Overall, this is a great soundtrack. One of my favorite elements used in this album was the use of strings to imitate the squeaky suspension from the trailer. I would highly recommend watching the movie first, as this is a great Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball classic. It's probably the best movie they've made together. The CD also contains the soundtrack for Forever, Darling as well as the classic Straw Hat Song that Desi was so well known for singing. The travel trailer in the movie is also very cool.
