This Kwan Dao has a beautifully cast solid brass Dragon Head fittings and a thick yet flexible steel blade with a protective chrome finish. Top quality and perfect weight for the traditional kungfu stylist. The blade measures 24" in length and has a steel tip base 9 1/2" in length. Overall length is 82" from top to bottom. Overall weight is 8 1/2 lbs. Length and weight may vary.

I just bought one of these ( from another site, but it appears to be the exact same one as this ) and didn't expect what I got for the price. The Kwan Dao is stunning, about 8 lbs, with a mirror-polished blade and gold colored polished brass dragon head. It's not combat steel or anything, but neither is the price ( combat steel usually costs much more ) and it's plenty sturdy. It's a fine Kwan Dao for learning forms and practicing them and everyone at school has been asking where I got it. Very impressive for the money!

Mine even came with a carrying case and it's all made by Tiger Claw, Made In China.

Let me start by at least giving this thing the only credit it deserves. It's a beautiful weapon, and will more than likely always appear amazing if displayed in any martial art dojo or personal collection, but that's seriously about all this thing has to offer is its appearance. After my first practice with this weapon, the blade began to loosen and became very wobbly. After a while I became too nervous that the head would fly off during practice so I quit using it. Sure enough there was something wrong with it, so I took it to a professional to have it repaired. He was able to fix it, but only until I practiced again and within minutes it was loose again. I've taken it apart myself and the construction of this thing is pathetic. It's your choice whether or not you want to try it out for the rediculous price, but I'd advise to have a backup plan to use this as a decorative piece. Oh yeah, and I hope you've been working out because the weight proportions of this weapon are all over the place.

I love this weapon and all other Tiger Claw weapons. We use them exclusively at our school. I especially love that it comes with it's own carrying case! What a deal
