This review is from: The Long-haired Kings and Other Studies in Frankish History (MART: The Medieval Academy Reprints for Teaching) (Paperback)
I found this book to be very helpful for researching the tangled web of the Merovingians, however, it has one infuriating problem and that is the author assumes the reader knows Latin. There are many key passages given from documents and medieval histories in Latin with no translation afterwards! I hope this book will be reissued with the Latin sections translated.
