5.0 out of 5 stars Longarm and the Scorpion Murders, October 4, 2001

This review is from: Longarm and the Scorpion Murders (Longarm #271) (Paperback)
This is a very good Longarm book. It keeps you in suspence right to the end of the book. Not too many descriptive sex scenes. But, just enough to let you know that you are reading Longarm. Overall, one of the best Longarm books that I have read.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Being stupid is no excuse for getting yourself either hurt or in serious trouble.", January 11, 2006
This review is from: Longarm and the Scorpion Murders (Longarm #271) (Paperback)
The Longarm series started back in October 1978.There have been all kinds of episodes, good and bad ,as well as, well and poorly written. There is no author named Tabor Evans, but a number of writers who have penned the yarns. So;it's always a surprise to the reader what he will get when he reads one. This one #271 came out in June 2001.It is a rather straight forward story with a bit of a merry-go-round at the end as to who was the guilty one.Actually, the murderer Longarm set out to find was not the crime that had to be resolved in the end.

There is often something new to be learned about Longarm in most good episodes, and this is no exception. In this one we learn about the mentor who taught Longarm the ropes when he first became a lawman.Longarm owed him a great debt of gratiude as he had saved his life twice.

Overall a good episode.
