5.0 out of 5 stars Quite the sword for defeating foes!
After receiving the sword in the mail recently, I realized that the weight of it was a lot heavier than expected. I thought that the sword was simply a replica. Boy was I wrong.

1.0 out of 5 stars It's not Valayian steel!
This isn't true Valaryian steel. I was very disappointed in the product when I got it in the mail. Look closely and you'll notice it doesn't have the distinct rippled appearance of Valaryian steel. Don't waste your money on this non-magically created alloy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Quite the sword for defeating foes!, June 21, 2011

After receiving the sword in the mail recently, I realized that the weight of it was a lot heavier than expected. I thought that the sword was simply a replica. Boy was I wrong.

I immediately left the warm, safe confines of my chamber to beyond the Wall and immediately tested the sword on some Whitewalkers. Cut right through their undead flesh like a hungry dire wolf through a freshly butchered steak.

It was only after a brief tussle with a wildling woman did I feel revitalized from expending so much energy wielding this sword. I now feel confident that myself and other members of the Night's Watch will be able to defend the 7 Kingdoms from any blue eyed devils that might try to penetrate our mighty mortared structures.

Although I am not officially a Stark, I am trained enough to wield a sword as mighty as this.

Well worth the price. Looks great displayed in my foyer. It's heavy, it's cool, and I love it! "Stick 'em with the pointy end."

5.0 out of 5 stars Epic, January 9, 2012
This review is from: Longclaw, Sword of Jon Snow. Licensed from George R.R. Martin's "A Game of Thrones" (Misc.)
Some on here claim this sword to be inferior, well if your plans are to hack down a tree with it then you may be right. This is a true representation of Jon Snow's Longclaw, a Valayrian Steel sword from the House Mormont , a house in service of House Stark. If you want a fine tuned piece of steele then order the Damascus Longclaw but only 100 of those were made. You can still order the Damascus version of Ice and have a truly epic piece of steel. And for the Record Longclaw #1516 is mounted on my wall and is awesome. I have held many replicated swords and this one is by far the most superior in quality. Thinking about the getting King Robert Baratheon's War Hammer, another fine piece of weaponry.
