Longevity brand condensed milk is our family favorite since I was a child. We don't buy any other brand. I don't know what my uncle and parents use it for, but I use it in Vietnamese iced coffee and it's simply fabulous. Vietnamese coffee is traditionally made with a dripper like this Vietnamese coffee filter set but I use a Bialetti 6799 Moka Express 3-Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker and pour the coffee and a spoon of the milk into a tall glass of ice cubes.

At room temperature, the viscosity is moderate and easily pourable, like maple syrup. Refrigerated, the milk becomes more viscous and flows more slowly.

There are only 2 ingredients in here: milk and sugar. Other brands I've seen have a lot of junk added as fillers, including palm oil. One can is about 10 servings (2 tablespoons), according to the label, but I don't use that much at one time. For my coffee, I only use 1 tablespoon. 2 is way too sweet. I can get 20 or more servings out of the can.

This is a quality product and the can top is even embossed with a depiction of Shou Xing Gong (in Chinese mythology, the God of Longevity). He is holding a heavenly peach, another symbol of longevity in Taoist folklore. If you can find it locally at Asian supermarkets, the can is about $2.50 to $3.

Made in USA.

I bought Longevity brand after reading recommendations to use it in my Vietnamese-style coffee. When I ran out I did not want to pay the premium, so I bought a cheaper brand. I CAN taste the difference, so I am back to Longevity.

Tastes great. Sad that my roommates knocked over my last can in the fridge. Found it at the local grocery store though in the international foods section. I haven't tried enough brands of condensed milk to say that one tastes better than the other though...admittedly I bought this because I saw it in that video on how to make Vietnamese coffee.

While I enjoy this condensed milk, I feel that it has a richer taste than one would typically expect.
Not a negative, per se, but definitely subject to personal preference.

You wouldn't know it's condensed milk. I've used this brand for over 20 years--"Longevity" is right and the quality has remained consistent. I have tried all different brands, and none of them compares to the true to milk/cream to my sweeten coffee taste. It taste just like the half-n-half (I don't use milk, I like the richer flavor of half-n-half) and sugar but it's Longevity Sweetened Condensed Milk--I stock up on this and I can find them in the Asian/Oriental supermarkets. Use this for rice pudding, baking, tea, coffee, as a plain hot cup of milk and sugar drink, etc. Great for emergency and camping when you can't bring milk with you. Just pour content into a mobile container and you're off.

I tried a crok pot method of turning this cane sugar loaded condensed milk into carmel. Perfect on top of homemade bread mix.
