Savoring Longing for Enough
Escamilla's poetic yet conversational writing leads me to think, and re-think. One short chapter a day provides me a challenge a to our "more" culture, in a gentle manner. Excellent book for individuals, or group study.

We chose this for a book club offering. I didn't find it easy to get into, or very good for discussion.

I first read this book because it was a selection in my UMW reading program. I was reluctant to return the book to the library shelf, so I purchased a copy to keep at my bedside. I have read many "inspirationaal" books but never one that spoke to me as Mr. Escamilla's does. Every essay is lyrical, meaningful and touches the reader in a deeply personal way. NO matter what life challenge you are facing, there is an answer in these pages. I highly recommend this book to all who are seeking a meaning to their lives.Angels Unaware
