5.0 out of 5 stars A true companion, March 19, 2005

This review is from: The Longman Companion to America, Russia, and the Cold War, 1941-1998 (Longman Companions to History) (Textbook Binding)
Throughout my time at University studying European & International Politics I have constantly gone back to this book as a true companion for work on the Cold War, foreign policy etc. It provides factual and summarised information on the chronology of events 1945-1998. Though it doesn't offer detailed information on all events, it acts as an excellent reference point.
