This book is excelent for TOEFL test preparation, but I advise Amazon to recommend people to buy also the CD with the listening section, since it is sold separately. The audio from the CD-ROM included is different from that on the audio program.

this book is very helpful for preparing to the test, but it has one problem that its disc you must buy separetly and their cost 90 $

This book could be the best reffernce for TOEFL (paper test), if the Audio CDs were accompanied. However, I am so satisfied with it because it contains all the test matterials with detailed explanation.

This is a specific book for TOEFL preparation and gives the best tests and explanations for the student.

its very helpful book to buy if you want to do only toefl paper based test.

What's in the CD-ROM is a software which includes some additional exercises, but not the listening materials. Once you need to do the listening exercises in this book, you have to buy it from else where. What's more I don't appreciate is the software in this CD-ROM runs so slow, sometimes I had to move the software window in order to letting it show the next page, which drove me crazy!!
However, it is a good book so far for me to prepare the toefl paper test. The skills are listed clearly, so you can find out where your problems are quickly.
Anyway, It's a good book though.

This book is very helpful, but the CD doesn't provide you with the listening section. You will have to either cut or photograph the conversation from the back and have someone to read it for you. My teacher and her husband recorded the conversation for me, which is very helpful too! The recorded conversations is sold separately, and it is not cheap, so I didn't buy it. Plus, it more difficult to find it than to find two people to record it.
Other than the missing conversation, this book does teach you to ace TOEFL'''''''''''s many tips on how you should approach a question.

After all, I would recommend this book!

I bought this book and received the wrong one. I think it is not fair the return period has expired as I don't live in the states and just picked them up for school. I ordered the correct one and received the "Preparation Course for the TOEFL test:iBT with ISBN 0-13-205690-9

The assignment are interesting, but the answer keys part needs revising since you don't provide your rationale for the answers choices you picked up. And the learning happens at that level, I mean in explaining WHY you choose a particular answer you are helping the student learn all the grammar points in the sentence. So I sincerely think there is no learning in the book, it is very mechanical, providing only the letter answers.

Also, the book is not that organized, there are many details that should be taken out. It is confusing and the CD listening section is not organized either.It should be organized according to the listening section in the book
