Love these Pedals,

After purchasing these pedals I attached them to my road bike. Since I will ride about 5,000 miles this year I wanted to try a new pedal. I put the cleats on a pair of my Lake road shoes. The first thing I noticed is the amount of power transfered to the pedals from such a wide base. I noticed right a way a postive difference in my pedaling speed. Since most of my rides are around 50 miles this difference was definatly appreciated.Word of Caution for those graduating from mountain pedals. If you dont get cliped in, forget about it. It wont be pretty. The slick surface of the shoe meeting the slick road platform ensures that you will slip right off of the platform. So be careful. |
