At the time of this writing, I have only watched the first three episodes of the second season of Devious Maids (however, I plan to watch the most recent episode and others as my schedule permits). Watching the last three episodes of Devious Maids Season Two was an easy decision for me due to the fact that I have also previously enjoyed watching season one when it was released to the public in the summertime of 2013. It is best to watch season one of Devious Maids prior to watching the second season in order to better understand the motives of both the maids and their employers for season two. The second season is set up in a way with a fresh new story that those new to Devious Maids can watch the second season even if they did not watch the first. This is because the first season dealt with solving the murder of one of the maids while the second season deals with different issues involving relationships and the strengthened friendship bonds among the maids. Please know that I do feel that many of the actors and actresses in the second season contributed to why the last three episodes of Devious Maids Season Two are fun to watch (especially the third episode: my fave episode so far). However, I would have to admit that my favorite characters from this show (for both season 1 and season 2) would have to be Judy Reyes as Zoila Diaz and Susan Lucci as Genevieve Delatour. Judy Reyes carefully portrays an overprotective mother in season two who is doing her best to try to be less rigid and is not afraid to express her true feelings to those around her. Sadly, the man she loves wants to take a “breather” from their relationship and the drama between her and the daughter.Read more ›

For everyone else who hasn't started watching Devious Maids, I urge you to watch it as soon as you can! I hate to spoil it for anyone so I'll keep this review spoiler free.

However, trust me on this one. Season One was the foundation, season two is the icing on the cake! I cannot wait for a new episode each season. The writers has really outdone themselves, we have better character development, better storyline, better dialogues and interesting new characters *I hope that's not a spoiler* that just add up to the series.

If you have liked Season One you'll love this season, if you have loved season One then you'll love this season even more!

Happy Watching!

I happened upon this show by accident and purchased the first episode of Season 1. I was hooked and then, of course, had to watch more and more and more. So now I am caught up and happily ensconced in Season 2. I watched Desperate Housewives in the early days and then lost interest. (Same creator, Marc Cherry) Based on what I have seen so far, I think this show could go strong for quite some time. I think most of the characters are interesting and well thought out, and hopefully, will continue to evolve. There is plenty of drama to go around, but I particularly enjoy the "subtle" humor. Well done!

This series is great fun! Lots of laughs, and some interesting plot twists. More intelligently written than the usual TV fare. Susan Lucci is great as Genieve Delatour. I enjoy all the maids but especially Roselyn Sanchez (Carmen Luna) with her beautiful voice and Dania Ramirez as Rosie--who has to cope with life as a maid to Genieve Delatour. Evelyn and Adrian Powell are the couple you love to hate. All in all, a great way to relieve stress after a hard day.

When this show first came on, I viewed the opening and then turned it off. After purchasing the first season, I have been hooked and I recommend that every young woman watches this show. It is giving you the vibe of how rich people act and you are the maid. I love this program and enjoy watching it.

This is one crazy soap opera. I missed the first two episodes on Hulu and so I purchased them here on Amazon. I'm hooked. I love the new roads the characters have taken. These women have a lot going on and as usual, there is all sorts of intrigue and tons of mystery surrounding just about everyone.

You have to watch season 1 to understand season 2. The show picks up as if several months have passed, but episode 2 does put it back into that Devious Maid fire. It's the maids and their bosses scandals/drama with comedy. Quite amusing.
