The lyrical 18 wheeler's debut album is da joint . Phat beats, clever rhymes and smooth flow best describe his album. Just saw the video for "Boy Meets Girl" with Trucks' girl Alicia Keys. It blew me away. Raw, sweet, smooth and street best describe the many emotions of this cd. If don't believe me just ask the Keys, baby. Rush out NOW and buy this joint

After hearing him on a hot joint with Kool G Rap, Big Pun (R.I.P.) and KRS-One I decided to cop this, and it's obvious to me that he wasn't that hot but the others in the song made it good. The Bronx native brings you 19 songs, 4 are good, about 5-8 are ok and the rest are garbage. Guests are on a few songs and aren't nothing special (other then the great Papoose, and 1 or 2 others are decent). Production is not too great either and I never heard of the majority of the producers. Boogie does 5, Big French, Goodtimes ent., Mark Duvert all do 2 songs and R Son Ist, DJ Slayer, Danny, KB, Truck Turner, Prestige and Shabaam all do 1. My recommendation is skip this one over.

I know Truck's music from a minute ago when he did hot jointz on Jive Records Big Pun and KRS1 and his smash hit "Canibitch". Look Both Ways Before You Cross Me is a great follow up. The club mix Boy Meets Girl is hot and I love that 18 Wheeler joint...that is my favorite to drive to. I highly recommend this album.
