Provides excellent step-by-step instructions by a master. My wife and I own a small library of cookbooks and for learning the basics Anne's books are highly recommended.

This book was absolutely awesome and much more than I bargained for. It leaves nothing to chance. Everything is explained CLEARLY, and if you're still in doubt, the pictures (all in color) are, by far, the best! I never thought I would be able to make puff pastry but found out that it was a possibility, and Iwasn't stressed out or disappointed after giving it a try! This book turned that doubt a reality. Will this book serve as Christmas gifts this year for my "kitchen bound friends?" Without a doubt!
