Hours of fun for your little one!,
By Ali's Mom (Attleboro, MA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Look and Find: Disney Princess (Look and Find (Publications International)) (Hardcover)
My daughter is 2 and this is currently her favorite "book". It is similar to the I Spy books but features the Disney Princesses in their respective settings. Each scene features 6 to 8 hidden items for your child to find. The pictures are exciting and colorful. It is fairly simple to find each item but a definite fun challenge for a pre-schooler, especially if they love the Disney Princesses! My daughter loves doing the same scene over and over again to see if she can remember where the selected items are hidden. The only downside is that I wish there was more of a story paired with each scene.

My daughter loves this book! When it is reading time, she has been pulling this one out for the past few nights. Not only is it a lot of fun, but educational. You don't have to just do the look and find of what they ask but you can also do counting and have them find colors, etc...

***LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!***,
This review is from: Look and Find: Disney Princess (Look and Find (Publications International)) (Hardcover)
My toddler is 2.5 and *LOVES* this book. The book has about 6 (I think) different princesses (such as Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Mulan) in their "settings" and has you "find" about 6 different items...but I have my toddler find other things in the pictures like "where is the dragon?" or "where is the fish"...there is so much to "find" and she is learning new word this way. LOVE it!!!

Fun for your little princess,

My youngest daughter received this book last year for Christmas. For nearly a year it sat in her room undisturbed. She has recently shown an increased interest in princesses (I think that's standard when you are three) and is now very much in love with this book. Each picture has a Dear Diary entry and several images that you have to look for in the picture. It's similar to a Where's Waldo book with the drawings and sometimes quirky looking pictures, but the concept seems to resemble the I Spy books more. Some of the pictures are very easy to spot everything on the list and others, like the picture for Belle are more difficult. At the end of the book there is an additional list of things to find for each picture just like you would find in the Where's Waldo series.
Overall, it's a great book for a Disney Princess fan who likes to play hide and seek. My three year old delights in looking at the pictures and finding the hidden objects. I like that books like this teach her to look at the details. My seven year old likes this book, too, but I think it's a little too easy for her.

Fun to look at,

I got this book for a Christmas present for my 2 year old daughter. At first it was a bit challanging because there is a lot going on in the pictures, and on some pages the pictures in the key are not the same as the pictures in the book. But after a few sit downs together she is able to find all of the pictures on her own. It gives her a great since of accomplishment to be able to do so. It is lots of fun.

This book is nice, but man this is small. There are only a few pages and this book is wafer thin. I wish there was a few more pages to it.

I have bought a few of the toddler "First Look and Find" books and was shopping for more as gifts for a 1-2 year old range when I bought this. I guess I just assumed it would be like the others. When it arrived, I realized it is a hardbound book with thin paper pages, not a board book like the others. I also expected it to have rich, bright colors on every page, like the other look-and-find books I've seen, but the colors were very muted and the scenes on every page seem much less sharp and clear than even the other Disney brand books.
I rated it a 3 out of 5 stars because of the lackluster quality of the artwork inside. I expected more of Disney.

This is a great book for any young girl who likes Disney. My daughter keeps it in the car so it is readily available to her for the ride or for waiting in restaurants or doctor's offices. It is a great visual discrimination activity.

My 19-month old is really starting to get into the disney princesses, so I thought this might be fun for her. It's definitely for an older child with the look and find concept, but she really, really enjoys looking at some of the pictures and pointing things out (not really the exact look and find concept but close enough!) Each princess has their own page, with tons of activity and lots going on. She really loves the Cinderella page, Snow White page and sleeping beauty page. It seems like this will be a book that will last awhile as she grows into the true intention of the book. We've had it about a month so far and look at it every night before bed.
Additional information - My daughter is now 34 months and continues to love this book. Her new thing is "reading" it while on the potty. We have definitely gotten our money's worth here!
