If you like jazz, you'll love this!,

As a professional jazz singer, I rarely write reviews. This CD is wonderful, sensitive, and shows a depth of understanding in melody and rhythm that can be summarized in one word: talent! The band is in perfect harmony with this composer and show themselves also as talented musicians.Antoinette J.

Avante-Garde, yet immediately appealing Music,
This review is from: Look In (Audio CD)
This CD represents everything wonderful about 3rd Stream Jazz. It has intricate counterpoint yet passionate improvisation, it is harmonically sophisticated and yet melodic, intellectual yet passionate. The interplay between the musicians is quite remarkable
as are the various textures Mr. Myers coaxes out of his instrument. I reccomend this album to all lovers of serious music. I can't wait for the sequel! |
