Lena Horne Message to Michael, Ella Fitzgerald Wives & Lovers, great liner notes by William Hogeland. An import that is marvelous to pull out of its' case and admire the gold compact disc. A definitive collector might know where Lena Horne's version of Message to Michael originally stems but I am happy to house the work here, a wonderful package to round off anybody's collection. The Look of Love, The songs of Hal David & Burt Bachrach, a real warm collection of songs. I'm sure the tracks by Miss Lena Horne and Miss Fitzgerald are among the composer's personal favorites. One of the reasons I enjoy shopping on amazon.com The items that pop never cease to amaze me. |
