The song "Look for a Star" was on the first record (45 rpm) and record player I ever owned (age 12). I haven't heard this song by Billy Vaughn's Orchestra till this CD. 47+ years... The flip side of the 45 was Bobby Rydell singing "Volare".... the remaining songs were a treat also. It is always exciting to hear a tune or experience a moment from my youth...

Two of Billy's best albums, biggest hits and both led by big singles hits. LOOK FOR A STAR has some marvelous strings on some very big hits of the day as well as standard material. SWINGIN SAFARI has songs with strings, a little marching music and Woody Herman's great jazz classic BLUE FLAME which is given its due by the Billy Vaughn crew. These were lps which were played some much they were almost white. Great to finally have them on CD!!

A hard title to find. I was glad to get it. If I left a bad review it is because I got it mixed up with another order. The song is from "THE CIRCUS OF HORRORS". A foreign film that was as good as the Vincent Price horror films. The song is titled "Look For A Star."
