Great information
A great book, especially for families living in Germany. The book provides fun facts on things made in Germany (did you know the hamburger came from Germany, as did cologne, the frankfurter, and other everyday foods) and an excellent book to bring home from Germany to remind the reader of their stay. We also have the Made in Japan book which is also recommended.

Interesting but Underwhelming!
I purchased this book for my 12 year old granddaughter. The book has interesting facts. However, she read the whole thing in a matter of minutes. I was expecting more detail than the book contained. She is a great reader, so it presented no challenge to her.

Maybe it's because I'm German and very proud of my heritage that I loved this book. It's not very thick, but to find out how many fantastic things the Germans invented and produced was very informative and surprising. If you're German, this is a great book to add to your collection. If you're not, you'd be amazed at what truly did come from Germany.

This was a gift for my MIL. She expressed much interest when unwrapping it, which made us smile. The only negative - there are not a lot of pages here. It's a quick read, but interesting.
