Hoorah for the Vandals!,
This review is from: Look What I Almost Stepped In (Audio CD)
The vandals are very very funny, but the music is also really good too. What it loses in being less funny than their next best album (Hitler Bad, Vandals Good) they make up for by playing such excellent music. I have advise for all you people at home: go and buy this album. Then go and buy all the other vandals albums. Then listen to them forever more.

I'm familiar with the work of these guys ever since Peace Through Vandalism and while their sound has changed a lot over the years, I like this album the best. Good hooks, catchy lyrics, almost every song is an anthem for someone.

I'm not a huge Vandals fan, but this is a great album. These guys are so damn funny. The songs are fast and fun. The lyrics are smart and the jokes come so fast its hard to even keep up with them.Behind the Music, Jackass, and The New You are the highlights, but every song is good. This is the type of album that you don't have to be a punk fan to enjoy because the lyrics are pretty universal. The songs are all played well and delivered as fast as the jokes. You've got to love the irreverence that bands like the Vandals are able to deliver. Great band, great songs, great album. Also for a punk album the guitar playing is pretty stand out.

Look What They Did Again,

The New Vandals CD, "Look What I Almost Stepped In," might be their greatest release to date. The lyircs are clever and delivered with break-neck speed. Others are more witty. Track 14-Titled "Fourteen," is bound to get some negative feedback from those who can't take a joke. The sarcasm never stops and the sound never gets boring. These guys bring humor to punk rock far better than Blink. With help from Brian "Dexter" Holland of the Offspring fame, this is a surefire hit.

I've never been disappointed with The Vandals and Look What I Almost Stepped In is no exception. It is more then what anyone could expect from the Vandals fast, bouncy and sometimes hard...perfect punk combo. Top songs are "Behind The Music", "Sorry Mom and Dad" and "I'm the Boss of Me".

This was the first cd from The Vandals that I had ever baught and I was completely blown away of how great it was. Since then, I have gotten a few more Vandals CDs, but this one remains to be my favorite. This is one CD I can sit down and listen to and enjoy every song without skipping over any one. I reccomend this CD to everyone and think everyone should buy it now.

this cd is awesome, the vandals have come back for anotheralbum. they have got a little more serious, but the humor is still there. keep in mind while listening- if anything offends you, it's a joke. track6 "jackass" is a next hit to brighten up ...radio. whether you liked hitler bad....... or fear of a punk planet, this cd has it for you. peace.

The lyrics are clever and the music is so catchy you'll be singing in the shower. "That's my girl, the drunkest at the party" is one we can all relate to because we've all seen (or been) that girl. "The New You" expresses this poor guys frustration with his split-personality g.f. who's trying to dump him, but he doesn't get it. Classic Vandals.
