Gr 3-5-Covering easy-to-make craft ideas using egg cartons, paint, and glue, Ochester sets readers up for a good start with a clear introduction. She also includes a helpful hint that poster paint does not adhere to plastic cartons. However, readers will be dismayed to see that the directions are not explained as carefully in the body of the text and that they must rely on studying the photographed examples. While it is laudable that imagination and resourcefulness are allowed to take over here, many group leaders and young crafters will prefer more detailed directions. Not only are the instructions for making a bridge leading to a castle unclear, but even the photographed illustration offers little help in modeling. Many of these ideas are similar to those found in typical craft magazines. Not a necessary purchase.-Blair Christolon, Prince William Public Library System, Manassas, VA

This review is from: Look What You Can Make with Egg Cartons (Craft) (Paperback)
There is a book that has 8 books in one about crafts. This is one of the books. I recommend you finding the larger book.
