Book Description

Publishers are removing things from new Bibles!

Publishers of modern Bible versions have been removing words, phrases, and even whole verses, but their readers are often unaware of it. Few people know the Bible well enough to notice when something has been taken out.

But the results are hard to believe. The removal of one tiny word turns Jesus into a liar. Callers into Christian talk shows have even used this to say that it’s okay for a Christian to lie. After all, they say, Jesus did it. A verse that’s completely missing from some of the most popular Bibles available today completely removes one of the basic doctrines found in every evangelical church. When David Daniels shows this one to people they just stand with their mouths open and say, “I can’t believe it!” In another case, Jesus’ own words are removed, taking out a famous phrase in which Jesus explains why He came to earth. People react with: “They took out Jesus words! How can they do that?”

This information has been right under our noses for years, but no one has ever taken the time to cull through this many Bible versions and find the missing parts. Author David Daniels did the research and now releases his results for the Christian world to see what is really missing. How about your Bible? Is it on the list of Bibles with pieces taken out? You might be surprised when you look at what’s missing.

From the Author

This book was not written to be complicated. It was written to point out some very simple truths.

The changes, both in ancient manuscripts usually labeled "Alexandrian" and in modern translations, really matter. Unlike what my Bible college and seminary professors said, these differences change doctrines.

God says we must not add to nor take away from His words (Deut. 4:2; 12:32; Prov. 30:5-6; Jer. 26:2; Rev. 22:18-19). This book focuses on doctrines that are changed merely by taking away from God's preserved words.

Along with simple Bible illustrations, the book reveals what we are taught in most Bible colleges and how that leads the student to doubt God and His words. Then it gives some history to 15 of the best-known Bible versions. Finally, it lists 257 scripture verses, and shows with strikeout type, the words that are removed when compared to a King James Bible. You can see for yourself what is missing, and why it is so important.

Look around you. When you read this book you will find that the same doctrines Christians are questioning about God, the Godhead, faith, salvation and other basic doctrines, are the same things removed in crucial places in modern Bibles. I believe that is no coincidence. That was the very plan of the Enemy. See for yourself in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definately worth checking out October 27, 2009

I already read some of the negative reviews about this book. I can't help but wonder if accuracy is all that important to the nay-sayers. Let me tell you, it's extremely important to me. When I show someone the written Word of God, I want it to be complete and accurate. I look up verses in other versions of the Bible like the NIV and Revised Standard. When Jesus died on the cross, He did NOT just simply die due to the execution method. He GAVE UP His spirit, and that is extremely important. No one took His life; He gave it up freely to pay for our sins. The NIV says "He breathed His last". Matthew 27:50 says "Jesus, when He had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost." Mark 15:37 says "And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost." That's a lot different and far more powerful than just "breathed His last". I will defend the King James Bible and all those who recognize its accuracy. Like it or not, many of the modern versions have been watered down so badly they literally disclaim the diety of Jesus. It DOES matter how the Bible is worded. God promised to protect His Word and does so today through the original authorized KJV. Some other versions have whole verses missing that God originally had the authors put in there for a reason. Revelation 22:18-19 is but one of a few places where Jesus Himself warns about adding or subtracting from His Word. Those who feel that David Daniels is off the mark or too "literal minded" or too narrow-minded, be aware that Mr. Daniels prayed a lot over this book as he wrote it. My spirit of discernment tells me that we should all take a closer look at the versions of the Bible we use. A watered down version could lead to someone misunderstanding something that makes a big difference in being truly saved or not. If you do that, someone's blood will be on your hands. Mr. Daniels is one of a very few who is willing to stand up and pronounce stanic corruption on tainted versions of the Bible. Yes, they're out there. Yes, I've seen and read them. Yes, you should compare whatever version of the Bible you have to make sure it is complete. People's very souls depend on it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Look Whats Missing June 7, 2010

This is such an awesome study tool that I wish I had purchased 2 of them. I will read this book, take notes from it and pass it on. The Bible says that "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." How can we know God accurately if what we consider to be the word of God are merely the words of men. This book deals with many of todays popular "translations". This book will help strengthen your faith in God by strengthening your faith in the word of God.

5.0 out of 5 stars A real eye opener April 6, 2013

This book "Look what,s missing" by David Daniels is a detailed study on what is missing from the modern versions and why as compared to the KJV.Unfortunately this study comes as an affront to many good brothers and sisters in Christ.

If you are a casual reader of a modern version than this book is worthless to you,but if you are actively studying the Word and honestly want to know more about God,s preserved word this is the book for you.I mean to say if say i'm using the NIV and I hear that my Bible takes away words from the text,I would be jumping at the opportunity to read the author,s proof,to see if I have a finished version rather than evolving version of Word of God because it WILL keep changing.

The advantage other version,s have is their readability.I myself often use other versions to clarify what my KJB says. This is acceptable since all modern versions are the Word of God.My proof behind that statement ?--Since one can only get saved through Gods word (Romans 10:17)and one can get saved by reading the NIV than that too is the Word of God just as much as a crucifixion scene from a movie might lead you to get saved--The Word can take many forms both spoken, visual and printed. The other Bible versions do indeed leave a lot of stuff out, much color and many adjectives are removed from the KJV when you view it in other versions.I recently went through a study book of Psalm 119.The author used the NIV and I painstakingly wrote each KJV verse next to it.The result was striking.

You know how when you buy a house or any other legal work you get a report from your lawyer. This report is hard to read (I call it lawyerese)that it is really slow painful reading. You can also ask your lawyer what it says in layman's terms. This is the difference between the KJV and the other versions. One is exact and totally accurate, difficult to read but precise in every word, the other versions are in our modern vernacular, remove important words and entire key phrases all in order to make it easy to read.Listen if it is Gods Holy Word shouldn't it be a bit difficult to read ?

I pray you might be the one to challenge your present Bible version and look into the possibility your Bible is incomplete in some way.
