Interesting story of how people are affected as a weather mass changes, starting in the Canadian Northwest and crossing each state into New England. This book has interesting stories, not so much dealing with technical aspects of weather.

Interesting, entertaining, and easy to read, it provides weather-wise insight into how our world is affected by the world above us. Adults and children will enjoy this book, which by the way, is Eric Sloane's favorite work.

The author states in the introduction this is the book he was most proud to write. Great stories and the author's pen drawings makes this a most read for those interested in understanding weather. Eric Sloane fans should certainly include this book in their collection. Enjoy. C.

Eric Sloane has the most marvelous way of depicting meteorological phenomena using pen, ink, and wash in ways that photography can't touch. Mr. Sloane was a life-long enthusiast and weather-forecasting amateur; thankfully almost all of his weather books are still in print and delighting a new generation. Buy this book!

This item was a gift for a pilot friend of mine. Eric Sloane's works are
full of character and his wonderful illustrations. Would recommend for anyone who is interested in weather patterns. Item arrived well within the timeframe in excellent condition.

"Look at the Sky and Tell the Weather" is an enjoyable read. It includes many interesting weather facts, personal stories, and much more.
This book is mostly a contrast between two big weather sources- the weather bureau vs folklore. The author is constantly in between the two- he is unsure which is more accurate. By the time the book concludes, he shares with the reader that the two go hand in hand. I would recommend as a quick and easy, yet educational book.

I have purchased practically all of Sloane's books. I love the era about which he writes. This is another great book of his. If you liked any of his other works, you will like this one.

Quaint book but not as informative about weather lore as I expected. Very readable style and interesting stories for myself.
