"Look At Us" and listen to these fab remixes!!!, March 23, 2001
This review is from: Look at Us (Audio CD)
After looking at the first single of "look At Us" that was deprived of remixes, I looked at this one and was very pleased with the results. The remixes live up to the original version, and they are all fun and dance friendly. These are some of the best dance remixes I have heard in a while, since most artist make those tacky 20 minute remixes that sometimes can be tastless.
Track Listing:
1.) Look At Us - Original Radio Edit (3:28) = This is the basically the original version chopped down so that it can be more radio friendly.
2.) Look At Us - Beam & Yanou Edit (3:38) = This remix has a very lite jungle vibe to it but it is very dance friendly and sounds great with the unique vocals.
3.) Look At Us - Beam & Yanou Club Mix (5:43) = This is supposed to be the full version of track 2, but I think it sound completely different and just as good as that of track two and the original version.
4.) Look At Us - Almighty Remix (7:22) = At the begining of this remix it kind of starts out cheap but then it goes into and unforgetable increble beat that somewhat has a dark feelin' to it. I think this one is my favorite remix, but I'm not sure because they are all so good.
5.) Look At Us - Chris "The Greek" Club Anthem (8:03) = This is the longest remix on this maci-single and like that of track 4, it starts out with somewhat of a cheap intro but than takes off with a great jungle vibe beat. This remix is great and all but it has a long intro, maybe there will be a radio edit. This remix is somewhat fierce yet its downfall is that it is somewhat repetative, but its all good, I'm feelin' the beat.
You don't need to look at this twice before you make you decision, it is well worth it. You can't go without these great remixes of the hit song "Look At Us", because they are beyond incredible. This is the perfect single for all you clubber peeps, so what ya'll waiting for, come and get these fantastic remixes.

Better Than the Other Single, August 2, 2001
This review is from: Look at Us (Audio CD)
This is one of the best songs I have ever heard, the remixes are even better. Here's the tracklist:
Track 1: "Look At Us (Original Radio Edit)" (3:28) This version is the one you would hear on the radio. Nothing new.
Track 2: "Look At Us (Beam & Yanou Radio Edit)" (3:38) This is just a short version of the "Beam & Yanou Club Mix" (track 3) It's different from the Original Radio Edit.
Track 3: "Look At Us (Beam & Yanou Club Mix)" (5:43) This version is has a funky tune in it that will stay in your mind for a long time. Very original.
Track 4: "Look At Us (Almighty Remix)" (7:22) This is my favorite mix in this single. At first this sounds kinda boring, but as the music builds up, it becomes more danceable.
Trac 4: "Look At Us (Chris 'The Greek' Club Anthem)" (8:03) This mix is more like a dub. It doesn't say anything except for "Baby, look at us." But the dance beat is really strong, which makes it an unforgettable song.

Cute pop song, April 24, 2001
This review is from: Look at Us (Audio CD)
After seeing the video for this song on MTV2, I was unable to get rid of the melody to this song. "Look At Us" is so darn catchy it is virtually impossible to not have it stuck inside your head for days on end. This is one of those fun pop songs where I am constantly humming along to the beat constantly. The remixes are fabulous...well most of them anyways. I personally didn't dig the Chris "The Greek" Club Anthem. I thought the remix distorted the song. The Almighty and the Beam & Yanou remixes were excellent, particularly the Beam & Yanou Club mix. Asides from Chris "The Greek" Club Anthem I thoroughly enjoyed this maxi-single and cannot wait for the full length album from Sarina Paris.
