This book is a fantastic source for vocabulary at any age. This book contains some of the most used words that a person encounters in daily life, and also shows how they are each used in sentences and includes cute pictures that illustrate the sentence very well. The sentences make good, clear use of the word in context and are grammatically correct. The pictures and English translation make it very easy to follow for the student of Italian of any age. I have been studying Italian for over 6 years and I am quite fluent but this book is still a great refresher for the endless variety of situations one encounters on a daily basis. The words vary from those a six-year-old would be interested in to those that every adult needs to know. Highly recommended!

fur. la pelliccia. Il lupo ha una pelliccia pesante. The wolf has heavy fur.
furnace. la stufa. La stufa ci riscalda la casa. The furnace makes our house warm.
furniture. i mobili. I vecchi mobili del nonno sono in soffitta. Grandpa's old furniture is in the attic.
