5.0 out of 5 stars Last book of the greatest baseball series, August 31, 1998

This review is from: It Looked Like For Ever (Paperback)
Although Mark Harris' Henry Wiggen baseball books were written many years ago (starting in the early 50's with "The Southpaw" and "Bang the Drum Slowly," and finishing in the 70's with "It Looked Like For Ever") these are great books that are timeless.

In some ways, "For Ever" is the best of the lot, because it deals with time and aging and how we deal with that. Henry becomes even bigger and more real as he grows fallible. I remain touched to this day.
