One afternoon I was listing to the Smooth Jazz music on my cable. Something caught my ear and I was looking at the T V to see who was singing this popular song called Crazy. The man's name was Joe McBride. The name didn't ring a bell for me, but I new I had found something really good. Later that day I went to Amazon.com and ordered the CD. After hearing the CD I was very happy about my purchase. Hold on to your leg when you hear this CD because it will be moving to the beat of this fantastic music. 5 Stars.....A+

Joe's the black gold of the sun...,

Joe McBride. an artist who has reached is eighth album release, that there is still strong inspiration and creativity.
Singing lead and playing the acoustic piano, McBride is accompanied by guitarist Dan Wilson, bassist Roger Hines and drummer Elijah Gilmore. Lookin' For A Change is a brilliant body of work where Our Genius re-arrange a box of classical pop songs of the American Songbook; listeners are invited to a party that fuses both pop and jazz, fine arrangements and the amazing voice of Joe. Listen to the new version of Crazy (Gnarls Barkley's one)and you'll run faster and faster to the nearest music shop... Welcome Back Joe into the black gold of the sun!

The recording would be absolutely perfect without ann errant deviation to fantasy by including the word "magic" in an otherwise spiritual and artistic experience. Use of that word caused the recording to fall from grace.
