THIS IS A SUPERB CD! EDDIE JR. HAS A STRONG RESEMBLENCE TO HIS DAD, EDDIE TAYLOR, IN HIS PLAYING AND SINGING. GREAT HORNS ADD TO HIS BEAT, BUT HE HAS THE OLD CHICAGO BLUES RHYTHM STILL THERE. WHAT A TERRIFIC DEDICATION CD TO HIS FATHER, WHICH HIS MOM AND BROTHERS ALSO ARE ON HERE TOO! ONCE YOU HEAR 1 SONG, YOU ARE HOOKED . I LOVE THE JIMMY REED SONGS AND EDDIE TAYLOR SONGS HE RE MADE ALSO! JUST A PERFECT CD!

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Chicago Blues from a new generation, July 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Lookin for Trouble (Audio CD)
This is a fine example of Chicago Blues from the well known sax of Eddie Shaw to Martin Lane's harmonica and the two Taylor family members on drums. But Edward is the centerpiece and is sweet on both vocals and guitar in this fine tribute to his father. This album is very inspired to listen to. Listen alongside his father's album "I feel so bad" on Hightone and you can hear that Edward got it from Eddie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, the album is everything music should be., April 25, 1999

If this album does not move you, not only do you have a hole in your soul, but your head as well. Everything a young american needs. All the musicians and volcalists are the best that american culture has evolved into. Not even the aliens from outerspace could come up with or duplicate this music. Every human emotion and situation is exemplified through this music. This album is a tribute to Eddie Taylor by his son, Edward Taylor, family members and other musicians who played with Eddie Taylor. Everything is perfect, turn the music up loud and enjoy. Nobody outshines each other, the music is a concerted effort to pay tribute to a Great Blues Legend. In a perfect world albums like this would be the norm and sell millions and millions of copies, we have alot of work to do. Buy this album and save the human race. This review by Olen Perkins
