About the Author
Kaveh L. Afrasiabi has a Ph.D. in political science and specializes in Iran's foreign and nuclear affairs. Afrasiabi has taught at Tehran University and Boston University, and has done research at Harvard University, University of California at Berkeley, and the Center For Strategic Research, a think tank in Tehran. Afrasiabi has been a consultant to the United Nations' Program on Dialogue Among Civilizations as well as to CBS' Television. Although Dr Kaveh Afrasiabi, a first generation Iranian-American scholar, may seem an unlikely hero, his pursuit of his rights and defense of his integrity is an inspiration to all concerned. The book is a carefully researched and documented account of his own struggle against the powers that be at Harvard and elswhere. An insight into the way justice can be frustrating in modern-day America.
