You won't find Larry Weaver at your local Wal*Mart. Well, you might, that would be the actual guy haunting the mobile home accessories depatment. His CD, however, is not in the "comedy bins" where they'll certainly have 20 copies of Jeff Foxworthy, 10 copies of Adam Sandler, 5 bleeped copes of the best of "The Jerky Boys" and maybe 1 "Weird Al"-bum. And that's actually a pretty sad statement of what's passed off as a "comedy album" these days.
"Looking For Fun" is a great showcase for Weaver's sense of humor with tales of romance, wrestling, and Ronald McDonald. Dr. Demento's audience already knows and loves Larry Weaver, this album deserves an mass audience willing to take a chance on a fresh new face in the new millennium.

Larry's new album holds the same comedy gems as his last CD and now with a professional sound that you can really crank up and scare the neighbors with!!! State Fair Woman comes at the perfect time of year. Who could ask for more than romance at the carnival? Other songs are great and the skits, especially the one with the secret bonus track, are hi-larious. If you liked Grandpa's Gone Gangasta or Little Debbie from Larry's past work, this CD is for you!!
