Book Description

February 4, 2006
All heck breaks loose when a cowboy and his horse are brought aboard an alien spaceship! Garrett is either in a coma, lost in crazy dreams or just plain crazy, locked in a padded cell living a delusion. Pig-like men don't come out of thin air with a weapon that punches holes through flesh and bone. There is no such thing as a Thornn research vessel or giant bumble bees called yantz that produce an organic substance to replace missing flesh and bone, and there sure as hell isn't really a Pegasus. Aliens of all shapes, sizes and colors don't gang up on you and try to kill you. But damn if it doesn't all seem as real as the constant pain he has lived with for twelve years. Does it even matter? Real or insane delusion, Garrett knows he is in a fight for his life.

About the Author

Larriane lives in rural northern Arizona, real rural at 10 miles to the nearest gas, food, or post office. She says she leans towards recluse though not because she dislikes people. Far from it. A severe hearing loss makes conversation difficult which is one reason she enjoys the forum so much. She just hopes others `get' her sense of humor.

4.0 out of 5 stars Aliens With Hearts, September 28, 2007
By
Lucille P. Robinson (Ville Platte, LA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Looking Glass Portal (Paperback)
Looking Glass Portal is a refreshing Sci-Fi story with less violence than those on television. A moving story of a father separated from his daughter and wife because his back problem is fatal and will eventually paralyse him; of a daughter who spent most all of her time trying to find her father only to be attacked by a rapist and taken on board an alien spacecraft. The reunion is satisfying AND aboard that alien spacecraft. Ever wonder if there was another experience with aliens that beat those offered by people who claim to be caught up and brought back? Ms. Larriane Wills shows us what good CAN happen in a like situation. Read this book. You won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ALIENS ABDUCT A COWBOY..., March 26, 2009
By

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Looking Glass Portal (Paperback)
Garrett,a cowboy abducted from Earth, struggles to unravel what's happening, while trying to survive encounters with the other dangerous and diverse inhabitants of his new space faring prison/home. But what are his mysterious captors really looking for?

I very much enjoyed reading this book. The writing was clean and the visuals wonderful. Ms. Wills' characters, be they human or...not, were interesting and when the book ended I missed them all.

So if you're looking for a nice escape from this world's worth of trouble, check this one out and see how Garrett handles things.
