5.0 out of 5 stars My Ahh-Haa Experience, November 1, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Looking Glass Universe: The Emerging Science of Wholeness (Touchstone Book) (Paperback)
I decided I wanted to understand Quantum Physics so I bought and struggled through several books and would often give up after the first few chapters. Then I got Looking Glass Universe. It started out interesting enough. Then on the bus heading to work I reached page 113!
Now if you've had a profound Ahh-Haa experience where something you'd struggled to understand swoops into your brain...and the proverbial light comes on, then you know what I mean. It was exhilarating! It was a chapter about David Bohm. Subsequently I've devoured every book I could find by Bohm.
Literally, the world has not seemed the same since.
But of course, this is all me and others may not respond as I did, but I energetically recommend Looking Glass Universe for a trip you may never forget.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Read book, January 24, 2008
This review is from: Looking Glass Universe: The Emerging Science of Wholeness (Touchstone Book) (Paperback)
This is a life-changing book. The tables/addenda in the back are even more fascinating than the text, which tells how the author, a well respected physician, reluctantly learned he can perform distant healing. He then explored the literature on how this could be and brilliantly ties together experiences in shifts of how time and distance are experienced or viewed by mystics, mediums, and psychics.
