I bet your thinking "Huh, a soundtrack for a book?" Yes, a soundtrack for a book. And the soundtrack is really good! You don't have to have read the LGW trilogy or be a staunch supporter of White Imagination to appreciate the music on this soundtrack. (But it helps!) Bear in mind this is NOT this kind of music one would normally associate with "Wonderland" like violins, flutes, and pianos. Instead you get a collection of rock, metal, and instrumentals using electric guitars, basses, drums to Â"unabashedly challenge your Wonderland assumptions of mad tea parties, sleepy dor mice, and curious little blond girlÂ" to paint a new image of Wonderland: A place alive with love, war, and a beautiful black haired Queen Alyss! "A soundtrack for a book?" yes my friends and I hope this starts a new trend.

I enjoy the multi-media aspects to Beddor's works. This soundtrack is very strong with a wide-range of sounds that all tie together. Sure, some of the lyrics get cheesy, that's bound to happen when a song is written in direct response to something but overall a great album. Even if you aren't familiar with Beddor's books, this is a very good album.

The Looking Glass Wars is an excellent cd. Perfect for any Alice or "Alyss" in Wonderland fan. It has a wide range of music genre's, from techno to pop to rock. It's a great compliment to the book, but a great stand alone cd as well.

Excellent book, excellent music. A couple songs are kind of 'meh' for me, but this CD has brought me to discover a fantastic band named Hypnogaja. All in all, it's the kind of music I like to have playing in the background when I'm at my workbench. Some easy-listening, some pop-ish. All smooth and flowing. I highly recommend for any "Alice..." fan.

I love this book and hearing it on CD is also great!! The narration is really well done and the voices they have chosen are also really nice. Nothing worse than having people with annoying voices read one of you fav. books!
