I keep this beautiful little book on my nightstand and reference it frequently for comfort, wisdom and inspiration. Reading even one prayer or one poem--either in the morning or the evening--always helps bring my soul around to the place it ought to be.

June Cotner has a particular ability to assemble these types of collections, and has cultivated relationships with writers so that she is able to offer things both consistent in general content, and varied in style and substance. This may be her best.
