This is a heartwarming tale of two brothers who become great friends over the period of a summer. 18 year old Ryan, fresh out of high school takes on a summer job as a camp counselor for kids, to help pay for his college education. His mother, who works all the time and can't afford a babysitter, insists that Ryan must take his brother to camp if he wants to go. Needless to say, the two have quite a few adventures at camp and get to know each other better and by the summer's end, they have become great friends. This video is a timeless classic that you will want to watch over and over again. Although it isn't being produced anymore, I would recommend buying a used one from an auction if you get the chance. This is one video you don't want to miss!!!

This is a favorite movie for my entire family. It is an inspiring uplifting film that will be enjoyed over and over again by your family. It is about two brothers who don't really get along with each other but over the course of a summer at camp, they learn to love each other.

I saw this ages ago when it was on PBS, and luckily my mom taped it for me. I kept the tape, but eventually it wore out, so I bought a copy. It's a lovely tale, and I wish the actors had kept acting! A very talented cast. A young man needs to earn money for his family during the Depression, so he decides to work as a camp counselor (of course, he has to fib and tell them that he's experience; but he doesn't even know how to swim!). His mother makes him take his kid-brother along, and adventures ensue! A lovely family movie. Five stars!
