5.0 out of 5 stars Super Intro to Fine Art, July 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Looking at Paintings: An Introduction to Fine Art for Young People (Hardcover)
I was delighted to find another copy of this book at Amazon for another grandchild. I've had one for several years and don't remember where I found it. I have shared it several times with a 4-yr old granddaughter. The familiar characters 'bring' the little ones in and soon they are learning valuable information a little or a lot depending on what they can absorb at the moment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Art-tastic!, January 10, 2007
This review is from: Looking at Paintings: An Introduction to Fine Art for Young People (Hardcover)
This book on the history of art and why art is the way it is, kept my 7 year old spell bound. It created positive conversations about emotions and exaggerations in paintings. This book was originally for our 4 year old because she is more of the artist. She enjoyed the pictures but did not stay interested very long.
