Simply superb, December 28, 2006

I just listened to this CD and felt compelled to write a review. Not only is the music first class but the program has been structured superbly and the playing is fabulous. Furthermore, the recording is absolutely first class. In fact, the piano sound is so realistic, clear and refined that I had to check the recording details; and I was pleasantly surprised. It was recorded at 'Estudios Consentino' in Buenos Aires. The surprise does not come so much from the location (I have been in wonderful Bs.As. many times and have several recordings done by Consentino's team) but from the excellence achieved so far. Kudos, then, to them and the pianist, Mirian Conti (who also wrote the excellent notes).
