Editorial Reviews

Review

"He is an individual that young people should want to know." --Bill Cosby, Entertainer

Review

"William H. "Bob" Bailey was on the front lines of the civil rights movement in southern Nevada and instrumental in opening the hotel and gaming industry to minorities by providing training in jobs traditionally reserved for the white citizens. Bob's success is grounded in his belief that education and training are the keys to success for every American."

Most Helpful Customer Reviews

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By James Alexander on June 19, 2009
Format: Paperback
From Cleveland to Sin City, Dr. Bailey's journey covers his days as a singer to his life as businessman and Presidential appointee in an easy reading style. It is extremely valuable to our history to have the documentation of the civil rights crusade in Las Vegas written in the words of one of its greatest champions. Well done and I highly recommend this wonderful book.
