Hello fellow readers. I need assistance finding books in the "Urban Fantasy" genre, but here is the important part....I don't want erotica or cliche romance, preferable no romance at all.

In other words...an urban fantasy that a guy would like?
Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere is a good example.
Anything by Laurell K. Hamilton would NOT be.

If you haven't tried Jim Butcher's Dresden series you really should - real urban fantasy, funny and very action packed

I like the Kate Daniels series, the Edge series both by Ilona Andrews. I think a man could like them too. I also like Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series and the Alpha and Omega series by Patricia. Another good series that was recommended to me by a man was Kim Harrison's books featuring Rachel Morgan. They are hysterical, good fantasy and good writing.

Oh and I forgot- the Harry Dresden books are good but don't miss that Jim Butcher also wrote the Alera chronicles and they are an excellent read.
