Biography

Many consider Gary Moore to be one of the most underappreciated guitarists in rock music, particularly in America where he has barely made an impression at all. Nonetheless he is often cited as an influence on the work of many other notable guitarists including Ozzy Osbourne’s axeman Randy Rhoads, and his fortunes are interweaved with the success of other well-considered artists.

hey! 2 discs of his rock solo material somewhere between thin lizzy and the blues albums of the 90's. Don't miss this period of arena blast rock n' roll. he is one of the most underappreciated guitarists and has been just under the superstar level his whole career.

Don't miss any part of his career or u will miss some great guitar work!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Early Moore!, June 5, 2010

A very good double cd of Gary Moore's Pre- Corridors of Power era. It definately shows the diresction he was headed in. A lot of very enjoyable stuff here. I was a huge fan of Gary's rock and metal years. He just kind of lost me when he decided to start playing almost all blues music. I still buy his stuff when I see he's trying different directions like A Different Beat and the SCARS project he did, But Gary's playing fromthe seventies to the early ninties is the pinnacle for me.This cd is a great addition to any Gary Moore collection.
