feels like karma,

PWEI has always been my favorite band ever since I first heard them. It sucks that they are no longer together. Anyway, I believe this is their third album(at least in the U.S.), and it is terrific. It's a shot to your face right from beginning to end. Karmadrone is my favorite and it was the one track from the album that had it's own single. Every track on this album is great. One of the reason's that PWEI is my favorite band is that they have such a unique and wild sound. I classify them as industrial because they mix live instruments with loops and samples. If you like anything like Renegade Soundwave, Front 242, Prodigy, or The Orb, then you will most likely dig this. This is just as good a place as any to get into the poppies, and if you already dig their sound then get this album now.

live drums ruin it,

this is the day..., and cure for sanity were two of my fav albums of all time and i was really looking forward to getting this one when it first came out. i was really disapointed cause the songs weren't nearly as strong and for me the live drummer just doesn't work. what i loved about PWEI was the way they sampled awesome drum beats and when they stuck a live real drummer in there it just...i don't know, ruined the whole thing for me. i really wanted to like this album. i tried hard but couldn't. didn't really like much that they put out after this either...but at least i will always have my cure for sanity and this is the day...and no one can take those away from me.

This really is one of the best electronic rock based albums to ever come out. Imagine the Beastie Boys(with heavy british accents)performing with a sample heavy electronica group and rock guitar player. Quirky, catchy, and FUN!

will pop eat itself?,

I BOUGHT THIS ALBUM ORIGINALLY ON IT'S DAY OF RELEASE IN 1992. HAVING BEEN SLIGHTLY DISSOPOINTED BY 'CURE FOR SANITY'(THE POPPIES PREVIOUSE ALBUM) THIS ALBUM WAS A DEFFINATE RETURN TO FORM. BEING THEIR FIRST ALBUM TO FEATURE FUZZ(TOWNSEND, SON OF THE 'WHOS' PETE) ON DRUMS. SAMPLE FILLED OPENER 'ENGLANDS FINEST' SETS THE STAGE FOR A BRILLIANT ALBUM, FOLLOWED BY THE AWSOME RIFFAGE OF 'EAT ME,DRINK ME,LOVE ME,KILL ME'. EVERY TRACK SCORES WELL, BUT THE STAND OUT TRACKS FOR ME HAVE TO BE: HARRY DEAN STANTON, ALLWAYS BEEN A COWARD BABY, TOKEN DRUG SONG AND THE AWSOME FUNK FILLED TEENAGE GRANDAD.THIS IS THE ALBUM TO BUY, AND THEN ASK YOUR SELF, WILL POP EAT ITSELF? I THINK YOU'LL FIND THE ANSWER IS YES!
