I am a huge Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake Fan. The last Wolfenstein was fairly decent though the super natural powers were what i think made it fall back a little. I am glad to see that they decided to go and jump time to post WWII era into 1960. Seems like its going to be a legit sequel to the last one.

Maybe this will lead up to where DOOM starts since the Doom Guy is a descendant of B.J. Blazkowicz (You would know this if you played Wolfenstein 3D, then played Doom/Ultimate Doom afterwards). I have always wanted to seem them officially tie the stories together so maybe that will come in this title or a future Doom title. Wolf, Doom and Quake are all in the same universe. Wolf happened, then started Doom and the results of the events of Doom lead to Quake with the Strogg invading after the events of Doom II.

Yes it could be, but experince has taught me to wary of hype. Every new game has the potential to be good but so few are now days. Me I am going to just take a wait and see approch.

I liked the last one myself, but I agree with TRE. I've been let down recently by games I was looking forward too. It's way too early to guess if this game is going to be any good.

RtCW was absolutely epic. The last one was a bit of a setback, I thought, but still enjoyable and the potential was definitely there. This one, though... looks like it could either be another huge win for the franchise, or a flop that might seal its fate. I'm hopeful it's the former.

At first, I was real stoked (still kind of am) about this title when I read about a new Wolfenstein game. Then I thought it over, and like The Real Enigma stated, I'm going to give it a few days to see what some initial reviews say about it.

I'll definitely play this game, but buying it right away will depend on whether or not the serious reviews suggest it. If it's mediocre, I'll wait for a sale.

Still though, the idea of a semi-future Nazi alternate universe does make me raise an eyebrow. Fingers crossed ;)
