Fun but quite a few defects,

I had read reviews of this online before purchasing and the reviews were "average". I knew I was still going to buy it even knowing there were "camera issues" among other problems. I was just too big a Looney Tunes fan to pass it up. However, after playing it, I must confess that if I knew then what I know now, I would not have purchased it even at $39.99. The problem is not necessarily the camera (although there are definite issues there) but it is what I perceive as outright bugs. Example: In the second mission of the second level (Escape from Camelot), I got to a point where I had killed a robot on a platform but didn't make the jump to the next platform in time. Killing the robot triggers the platform to move. No big deal? Well, if you restart from the checkpoint, the robot is no longer there so nothing triggers the platform to move. My only option is to restart the entire mission. This also happened on level 1. Normally, I would not review something without at least being halfway through but I thought people should be aware of this. Overall, I still rank it average since it is a fun game, reasonably priced, etc. Certainly not one of the best games out there out. Spend wisely.

I rented this from Gamefly and I am glad because this game isn't worth the $39.99 price. It seems to me that this game was made in a hurry as it's very unpolished. First off, there are way to many camera issues that make it hard to see at times as well as causing you to get out. For instance, I was in the Egypt level and I never saw the gap because the camera was seriously messed up.
Second, the sound is terrible. It can get distorted at times which makes it hard to hear the characters talk. However, that being said, the voices are spot on so that's a plus. Another downside is that the characters get repetitive which gets annoying real fast. As for the gameplay, it's not all that much fun as some characters are uneven meaning that they don't fit the exact level they play in. For instance, why is Taz paired with Foghorn Leghorn? And unless I am missing someting, WB states that you play as 7 different characters so why did I only play with 5? And why do you only play as Daffy once and that's it? This game is good as a rental and that's it. To many things wrong with this game. Whoever developed Duck Amuck for DS, should have developed this as well. Better yet, just port that game over to the 360 because as it stands now, Acme Arsenal just doesn't cut it for us Looney Tunes fans.

Let me start with the bad; there are some camera problems. However, I have not played a platforming game without camera problems. Some people think Mario64 was the best ever but I couldn't play that because the camera was awful. If you are the type of person that loves FPS (as most people are these days) you should avoid this game because you won't like it because you are closed-minded and you have unrealistic expectations. I played this alongside Red Dead Redemption and the camera problems in those games are comparable. The gameplay is not a victim of the camera work.
Another thing people say is that the game is broken. I am on the last mission of the game and have yet to find one of these "glitches" they write about. One guy said he couldn't get to the platform across the room in the second level. There are two spots he could be talking about. The first, you have to turn a switch to activate a platform to jump on. The second, you have to triple jump (A,A,X) to get across. Either way, it's pretty simple. The biggest problem with the game is the way it's represented. The advertising, summary, and even the game manual all say there are 3 or 4 guns. So far I've counted at least 15. They also seem to focus on Bugs, Marvin and Daffy. Taz and Foghorn are actually the most fun to play with. There are other characters but I don't want to ruin it for anyone. Basically, this game has been misrepresented. It's a solid game in the LT series and incorporates loads of originality into platforming. It's ridiculous to think that the FPS fans and the Madden crew have probably ruined the chances of a sequel. It's obviously not a football game and it's obviously not Call of Duty. If you like platforming and you like Looney Tunes this game is the best of both.

This is a great game to play with your kids. There is some control mechanics getting used to but seeing these cartoon classics in a modern day game is well worth the price of admission.

I'm not a gamer, but let me tell you what the kids say: "It's okay." I.e., boring.
Some of the levels/objectives are a little confusing, the graphics aren't all that hot, and controlling the figures aren't as intuitive as others. We've had this game about nine months, and I don't think I've seen it played in the last three. If it disappeared, no one would notice. Which gives me an idea...

A very poor game: monotonous levels, poor game controls, bad camera angles, choppy sound. What a waste of a great name brand. Worst Wii game I've come across yet, bar none.
