3.0 out of 5 stars Colorful But Hindered By Ponderous Gameplay., September 25, 2000

I always liked the Duck Dogers cartoons, few though they were, they had a unique comedy - not to mention art - style all their own. In Duck Dogers, Infogames tries to capture the cartoon as much as possible and for the most part has suceeded in doing that.

Duck Dogers is one of the best cartoon to videogame translations since Tarzan.

Unfortuntely, while Infogames were so caught up in making the game look and feel like the cartoon, they forgot about the underlying game. The gameplay itself is simple and very one-dimensional, with bland, colorful textures throughout.

Duck Dogers is mildly fun at best. It will appeal to younger gamers that aren't expecting Banjo and Kazooie with Daffy Duck in it, but most regular gamers won't rent it a second time.

- Louis

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Fun! (Just don't buy it)!, July 29, 2000

I really enjoyed playing Duck Dodgers, but it took me less than a week to beat it with all but 4 of the atoms collected. This would make an excellent children's game, but the older gamers will probably find it to be too short. After only 5 planets, the game, which is filled with terriffic sound excerpts from the original cartoon show, is over. Everyone should think about renting this game because it is good CLEAN fun (which is so hard to find in games these days) and is well worth a price of maybe ..., just for all of the interesting quirks and jokes, but not worth the [price] it is at this moment.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of the best nintendo games, November 9, 2002
This review is from: Looney Tunes: Duck Dodgers Starring Daffy Duck (Game Cartridge)
We rented this about a year ago, it was one of the greatest videogames I've ever played. The first world is mediocre-hard, while the second world was so hard me and my friend together could not beat it(hey we were only ten, though I suspect it would be hard for anyone to beat). It's definately worth putting on a birthday wishlist, like I am, and even going out and buying it yourself,
