A Looney Tunes Sing-a-Long Christmas

I got this CD, but from the first few seconds of the first track I knew something was terribly wrong. The first track opens with Sylvester having a conversation with Billy West. "Hey great!" I thought. "Billy West's on this CD. I love Billy West." It took a couple of seconds for me to realize that I had no idea who Billy West was trying to be the voice of. It took a few more seconds of looking through the liner notes and using some deduction to determine that he's supposed to be the voice of Bugs Bunny.

Bugs Bunny? Seriously. I really do love Billy West and am a huge fan of his, but his Bugs Bunny is all wrong. Bugs is sort of the anchor of this whole group, and if his voice is off, it's hard to listen to the rest of it. His is not the only bad characterization on the record, but just perhaps the most notable.

Beyond that, there's just no real humor on this disc. There are lots of jokes that fall flat, or that might be funny to a three year old, but nothing that I as a grown person who still appreciates cartoon humor can find funny. Go ahead and buy this for your kids, but only if you're already certain that they won't ever grow up to have good taste or the ability to discern good from bad.

This CD is A DEFINITIVE Holiday season must get.
This is looney tunes characters at their very best.Lots of fun from track one all the way through to track 14. And the sing-a-long KIDS on this CD is WONDERFUL. Also the sound quality of this CD is excellent,clear,crystal... WHAT is the secret in making this CD sounding so great.
Mom's and Dad's get this one for your kids, tell a friend ,tell your neighbour do not wait.
Of course my favorites are track 10 -The 12 days of Christmas(featuring-Sylvester The Cat and others),track 3-The Little Drummer Boy(featuring-Porky Pig) and all the other tracks featuring-FOGHORN LEGHORN. ENJOY.

This cd is one of the best Christmas albums i've picked up in a long time. My kids LOVE all the Looney Tunes characters so I couldn't resist when I saw this. Christmas has definitely started early in my house, and I don't see it ending anytime soon. Both the kids and I love to sing along to this at home or in the car. And its cheap! There is no reason to not pick this cd up. Fun for the whole family.
